Save the date - 2022 Symposium announced

SAVE THE DATE - The dates for the 5th Symposium on Agri-Tech Economics for Sustainable Futures has been announced for the 19th & 20th September 2022. Abstract and Full Paper submissions will be open until the 1st July 2022.

Following on from the excellent session at the 2021 symposium, we are also very excited to have The Centre for Effective Innovation in Agriculture hosting a Special Session at the 2022 symposium on Agri-Tech Adoption.

The Organising Committee are seeking Organisations that wish to partner in Special Sessions.

New Keynote speakers and Sessions

We are very pleased to announce that we will have Dr Belinda Clarke (Agri-TechE) and Professor Derek Baker (University of New England, Australia) joining the Symposium.

Dr Clarke will provide closing discussions and insights during the session on Adopting Agri-Tech Innovations and chaired by Dr Kate Pressland, Manager of the Centre for Effective Innovation in Agriculture.

Professor Baker will be the opening keynote presentation in our new session on Agri-Tec Economics in Food Systems and will address the topic of Digital agriculture as a disruption and transformation in food systems: Who gets value from it?

The final programme will be available shortly, so don't forget to register by the 13th September 2021.

We are pleased to announce that Professor David Zilberman from UC Berkeley (USA) will be one of our keynotes at the 2021 4th Online Symposium on Agri-Tech Economics for Sustainable Futures. Professor Zilberman, Extension specialist in the Department of Agricultural & Resource Economics, will be our leading presenter in the ISPA Economics Community special session focused on economics and adoption precision agriculture.

We are pleased to announce that Distinguished Professor Scott Swinton from Michigan State University (USA) will be one of our keynotes at the 2021 4th Online Symposium on Agri-Tech Economics for Sustainable Futures. Professor Swinton will be our leading presenter in a special session focused on precision conservation in agricultural systems using agri-tech.
