The Global Institute for Agri-Tech Economics, the National Centre for Precision Farming, Agri-EPI and Hands Free Farm Team at Harper Adams University are hosting an online webinar and discussion into the proposed development of a Code of Practice for autonomous crop equipment. Previously the Hands Free Hectare (HFHa) team has hosted an event to share their learnings from their connected autonomous vehicles (CAV) project to representatives and experts from the agricultural engineering industry (story can be found here). With the recent drafting of an Australian Code of Practice for Autonomous Crop Equipment, we are wanting to engage with farmers, industry and researchers to discuss and progress the development of a code of practice for robotic operations in UK agriculture.
